MASK AND BARONG EXHIBITION FROM PUAYA VILLAGE

Banjar Puaya terletak di desa Batuan, Sukawati, Gianyar. Sebagian besar masyarakat di sana menekuni kerajinan seni rupa, khususnya topeng dan barong. Seiring perkembangan globalisasi, masyarakat setempat mulai meninggalkan profesi sebagai pengerajin topeng dan barong. Fenomena tersebut menimbulkan gagasan dari para seniman untuk membentuk komunitas yang bertujuan menjaga, melestarikan, dan meningkatkan eksistensi dari seni rupa yang telah berakar dimasyarakat setempat. Untuk itu perkumpulan komunitas ini mengadakan sebuah event pameran dengan tema "EKSISTENSI PERUPA TOPENG & BARONG BANJAR PUAYA". Pameran ini berlangsung dari tanggal 2-12 Mei 2014 di Gedung Kriya, Taman Budaya Provinsi Bali. 

Puaya Banjar is located in the village of Batuan, Sukawati, Gianyar. Most of the people there pursue the craft of art, especially the mask and barong. Along with the development of globalization, local people began to leave the profession as craftsmen of  barong and mask. This phenomenon raises the idea of the artist to form a community that aims to preserve, conserve, and enhance the existence of the local art community. The community held an exhibition event with the theme "EXISTENCE OF  MASK & BARONG ARTISTS FROM BANJAR PUAYA". The exhibition was held from 2 to 12 May 2014 in the Gedung Kriya, Cultural Park Bali Province ( Art Centre ).  

プアヤバンジャールはスカワティ、ギャニャール、バトゥアン村にあります。コミュニティは、美術工芸品、特にマスクとバロンを追求しています。グローバル化の進展に伴い、地元の人々は、職人とバロン·マスクとしての専門職を離れるようになった。この現象は、維持保全し、地元のアート·コミュニティの存在を強化することを目的とし、コミュニティを形成するために、アーティストのアイデアを発生させます。コミュニティは、展示会·イベントを開催しました。テーマは「マスク＆バロンアーティストバンジャールプアヤの存在」。展示会はゲデュン・クリア、文化公園バリ州　「アトーセンタ」で2014年5月2から12まで開催されました。
